One Of Those Days...

Have ya ever had one of those days that sorta sucked. You know what I'm talking about. One of those days that would probably make a good comedy movie where everyone would enjoy laughing at your day. That's what I'm having today.

Captain America

Very good movie. Chris Evans was definitely the right choice to be Captain America. My brother found it a boring and gave it a 6 out of 10, but I'll give it a solid 10. I didn't see it in 3-D but it probably would've been cool. Ps Stay after the credits for an Avengers preview

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2

Holy crap it rocked. I saw it twice already. Once on the Friday of it's release, then on Sunday again. I saw it in Imax both times. I couldn't have asked for a better ending to the epic series. Obviously, this movie was more of war movie then any thing else. The humor was there but there was less of it in this movies then in the other ones, but it's hard to make a movie with so much death to funny. It was so great, it was crazy. I am very sad that series has ended and the legacy will live forever. I t now holds tons of box office records. In Canada/USA it holds the record for Opening Weekend, Opening Weekend- Imax, Most Profit in a Single Day, Widest 3D Launch, Highest Gross in Advanced Ticket Sales, Biggest Midnight Release, Biggest Imax Midnight Release, Highest 3 Day Gross, Highest 4 Day Gross, Fastest to $100 Million, Fastest to $150 Million. World Wide, it holds the record for Opening Weekend Worldwide, Opening Weekend Foreign, Opening Weekend UK, Opening Weekend Australia, Highest Grossing Worldwide Imax Release and Fastest to $500 Million Worldwide. I would say this movie is better then the rest of the movies. However I feel like the movie was sort of slow and that the seventh book didn't require two parts and would've good with one movie. But I am very happy that there was two parts because both part one and two of the deathly hallows book ruled. Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint all have new movies out soon. Daniel has a remake of the Woman in Black coming out in February of 2012. Emma Watson will be in a movie called My Week With Marilyn and Rupert Grint will star in an Anti- War film called Comrade. Even if you're not a Potter fan, you must see this movie. Harry Potter. We will miss you.

Lost vs Heroes

Lost and Heroes are two very different television series that both ended in 2010. recently In have watched the entire Lost series and am nearly done the Heroes television series. If you watched either show while it was on the air than read the post. If you've never even heard of Lost or Heroes than read this post and go buy the series's.

Time On TV

Lost aired in 2004 and ended in 2010 with a total of six seasons. Heroes aired in 2006 and ended in 2010 with four seasons. Lost seasons 1-3 were long seasons. Season 4 was quite short because of the writers strike at that time and the seasons got longer with seasons 5 and 6. Heroes season 1 was long and 2 was very short. 3 was long again and 4 can be considered as a medium between long and short.
Seeing as Lost seasons were generally longer and the series lasted longer, Lost gains a point.

Creativity

Lost is about a plane crash on an island in the middle of nowhere. It doesn't take 48 survivors of the crash to realize that they aren't alone on the island. It also shows flashbacks, flash forwards and flash sideways of the characters. What are flash sideways? Watch the show and find out. The first few episodes of it rings of the Lord of the Flies book but it quickly becomes unique and amazing in indescribable ways. Heroes is about random people all over the globe, who on the day of an eclipse realize that they have developed amazing powers such as flying and mind reading. Some know to use these powers to save the world and others feel like freaks. They soon discover that having these powers isn't safe because people out there wish to harm them. This isn't an easy decision but Lost takes another point.

Cast

Lost member, Evangeline Lilly can be found in the upcoming movie, Reel Steel with Hugh Jackman. She will also be Tauriel in the upcoming movie adaptation of the Hobbit. Ian Somerhalder of the show potrays Damon Salvatore on the popular televison show, the Vampire Diaries. Josh Holloway who plays Sawyer on Lost will be in the next Mission: Impossible movie. Dominic Monaghan had the role of Merry in the Lord of the Rings movies and had a role in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. In Heroes, Ali Larter who plays Niki Sanders, had a role in the Legally Blonde movie with Reese Witherspoon as her lawyer. David Anders had a recurring role in the show Alias. Milo Ventimiglia had a small role on the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. He also played Rocky Balboa's son in the final movie. Masi Oka played Bruce in the Get Smart movie. He also has a recurring role in the Hawaii O-Five reboot. Greg Grunberg had a role in Alias.Zeljiko Ivanek who plays Danko on Heroes and also had a small role on lost as Juliet's ex- husband. Both casts have actors from Academy Award winning series. Lost has cast from Lord of the Ring, Mission: Impossible and X-men and Heroes has cast from Legally Blonde, Get Smart and Rocky Balboa. Lost gains the another point, and the winning point.
Lost 3 Heroes 0

Lost kinda destroyed Heroes in this face-off but don't get the wrong idea. Both shows are very good and very cool and check them both out.

X-Men: First Class

Best X-Men movie ever. It's a fact and I might even be brave enough to say that it's the best Marvel movie ever made. 11/10! Very good lines, genius plot, good acting and very amazing everything else. Anyone would like it. Boys, girls, baby's, seniors and everyone under the sun can and will enjoy it.

Green Lantern Movie

Not good at all. Too much talking, not enough action. Ryan Reynolds could have delivered a much better performance. Bad story. Miss it.

Harry Potter 7 Part 2

I am dying with excitement for the final installment of Harry Potter movies. I'm seeing it in Imax 3D which makes it even better. I finished the video game yesterday. (It came out yesterday) and it was great. The book was the best of the series so it'll be great. Part ! was amazing, best of the movie series so I have high expectations Now if you consider yourself a Harry Potter fan, I don't doubt you but I was talking to a pal the other day and he said he was a huge Harry Potter fan. I asked him what his favourite Potter book was and he said "There's books?" So if your unaware that there is a book series as well as movie, get a cat scan the read them.
